Which cookies we use, what for, and how you manage your choice at any time.
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit it. They allow the site to remember certain information, for example your preferences or whether you have been here before. We also use similar technologies such as localStorage, which store data in your browser in a comparable way. In this policy, "cookies" refers to both.
You can group cookies in several ways:
We do not use cookies to track you across other people's websites for purposes beyond Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads.
We only place analytics and advertising cookies after you accept them via our cookie notice. Until then, everything defaults to "declined"; we use Google Consent Mode v2 for this. If you decline, or close the notice without choosing, we place no analytics or advertising cookies. Necessary cookies are always on, as no consent is required for them. You can change your choice at any time via Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.
| Name | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|
| izo-theme | Remembers your light/dark preference | Persistent (localStorage) |
| izo-consent / izo-cc-dismiss | Remembers your cookie choice | Persistent / session |
| izo-intro | Remembers that you already saw the intro animation | Persistent (localStorage) |
| Name | Purpose | Retention | Party |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics 4, measure visitors and website usage | Up to 13 months | |
| _gid | Google Analytics, distinguish sessions | 24 hours | |
| _gcl_* | Google Ads, measure ad conversions | Up to 90 days |
These cookies are managed via Google Tag Manager. We use no tracking other than Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads. The exact cookie names and retention periods may vary slightly depending on the version of the Google tools.
The analytics and advertising cookies above are placed by Google (Google Ireland Ltd.). Google processes this data as our processor, but may also use it for its own purposes in line with its own policies. You can read more here:
You can manage your cookies in two ways:
If you block all cookies, the site will keep working, but it will no longer remember some of your preferences.
If your browser sends a "Do Not Track" or "Global Privacy Control" signal, we respect your preference and treat it as a refusal of analytics and advertising cookies, for as long as you do not explicitly accept them yourself.
We may update this cookie policy when our tools or the regulations change. The most recent version is always available on this page.
You can read about how we process your personal data in our privacy policy. Still have questions? Email contact@izoard.be.
