Since 24 August 2026 ChatGPT shows ads in Belgium. One sponsored card below the answer, at the exact moment someone asks a question your product answers. We set up your first campaign.
ChatGPT has 900 million weekly users, and according to an analysis of 7.5 million conversations by Profound, close to one in five conversations now carries buying intent. Since this summer a Belgian business can advertise there. We do it with the same discipline as in Google Ads: measure, adjust, numbers on the table.
Ads only appear for users on the free plan and the Go plan. Anyone paying for Plus, Pro or Business sees none. That is also the mass: by far most people use ChatGPT for free.
The ad is one clearly marked card below the answer: a headline, a short line, an image and a link. It changes nothing about what ChatGPT itself says. In Europe you target by country and by the language of the conversation, so Dutch, French and English separately.

You pay per click or per thousand impressions. With the OpenAI Pixel on your site and the Conversions API you see which click produced an enquiry, an order or a sign-up.
We put ChatGPT Ads next to Google and Meta in the same report. After a pilot you know not only whether it works, but what an enquiry costs here compared to your other channels.
Conversations stay private · no personal data
New channel, old discipline.
ChatGPT Ads is a few months old. Public benchmarks barely exist, and anyone giving you guarantees today is making them up. What we do have: the first numbers from our own campaign for izoard.be. For your offer we start with a pilot: small budget, strict measurement, and an honest answer after twelve weeks.
We advertise on ChatGPT ourselves, for izoard.be. The campaign has been running since 1 September 2026, with a daily budget of €15. These are the numbers from the ad account for 14 to 27 September 2026 inclusive.
One account and two weeks are not a benchmark for your sector, but they are a first reference point.
Within ClickTrust Group we built our own AI visibility tracker: aiviz. It tracks how often ChatGPT and other AI models mention your brand, with which sources and against which competitors. From €50 per month, also without a campaign.
Advertising in AI starts with knowing how visible you already are there. So that is what we measure first.
Yes. Ads have been running since 24 August 2026 in the 31 European markets, Belgium included. Since 31 August a European business can open its own advertiser account. We set that up for you.
Logged-in adults on the free plan and the Go plan. Subscribers to Plus, Pro, Business and Enterprise see no ads.
One card below the answer, marked as sponsored: a headline, a short line, an image and a link. It changes nothing about the answer itself.
The topic of the conversation, through context hints we write, plus country and language. Not personal data: conversations stay private and are not shared with advertisers.
You pay OpenAI per click or per thousand impressions, with a daily budget you set yourself. As an indication: in our own campaign for izoard.be a click cost €1.49 on average from 14 to 27 September 2026. Our management fee is discussed at the intake, depending on languages and budget.
An honest answer after twelve weeks. The channel is too young for benchmarks; our own campaign reached a CTR of 0.88% in the second half of September. For your offer we measure cost per enquiry next to your other channels and decide on numbers.
